About us

I got my first english springer spaniel in 1973. In many years we had only the one which my husband went hunting with. In 1985 I bought a bitch Zima’s Amazing Lonely Star from which I based my breating of english springer spaniels. In 1987 I got the kennel prefix Chervood.

My first Clumber Spaniel was a bitch Holgersson’s All That Jazz she was dam to my dog Chervoods Snowman and Chervoods Snowberry and Snowflower. I have had 6 litters of springer and 2 litters of clumber. The dogs live together with us in the house. I had been to shows home and around and have taken various hunting tests.

In 2002 Anne Ernst joined me as a partner of Kennel Chervood. Anne had her first springer spaniel in 1992 and her first clumber in 1996.

Today we’re breeding clumbers only, trying to do the best for this wonderful breed.
