Another year has passed with lots of lovely experinces with out beloved clumbers. The shows have turned pretty well this year. We began to use our young dogs at the shows and it seems they are doing very good. It is always exciting to see how they take the challenges in their dog life. We have accuired many titles in 2007, or more exact 26 titles, which we are very proud of.
Thank you very much Lana Lavi and her very talented handler for their efforts with out little show-princess Chervoods Snowsun (Boom), who became BIS1 at Austia Jagtspaniels 100 years anniversary show, when she was 11 months old. Likewise we would like to thank Jessie Borggård Madsen, Denmark for the very good position.
Big thanks to everyone who owns a Chervood clumber for their efforts at shows, trainings, huntings and other activities.
Thank you for pictures and mails you send for us. We are always happy about that.
In 2007 we have performed a few health related examinations on our clumber spaniels, and we have obtained good HD, PDP1 and DCM results on out breedings. We are proud that our breedings are healthy, happy and active clumber spaniels.
Then we have the sad part of our lives together with out clumbers. One day we have to say goodbye to a beloved friend. Firstly we lost out little Sami, 6 months old, much too early, his life ended because of a virulent stomach infection. He got penicillin but it didn't work at all. It is the worst thing I have experienced in my whole life with the dogs.
Then the bad day came where I had to say goodbye to my last spring spaniel, Chervoods Fayette (Søsser) who became 13 and a half year. At the same time I had to realize that Ronja's life wasn't worthy anymore. After she was neutralised she became incontinent, but she was still the same happy dog with a tail which was never idle. Therefore it was extra difficult for me to say goodbye.. See you at the Rainbowbridge.
